Allure

East, South, NorthEast and SouthEast border neighbor's thick weed grass growth and mango trees that create 6 different microclimates. The land slopes towards the eastern section where the collection of soil in the berm and trenches provide for excellent produce and manure. Sarathy is Allure reconfigured. For personal reasons, I had to leave the land unattended, resulting in a whole section filled with weeds. When we cut down the weeds, we failed to realise that there were a bunch of lettuce that had gone to seed. And voila, we got some really amazing lettuce and marigold transplants.

Today, Sarathy has a section of greens, 2 sections of gourds, and another section of lettuce and spinach and raddish. In between two plantings, we also rotated using paladanyam which helps with the soil microbial diversity.
